Ukraine has already harvested more than 3 million tons of grain

As of July 4, Ukraine has harvested grain and legumes from a total area of 967.2 thousand hectares, yielding 3.36 million tons of grain with an average yield of 34.8 c/ha.

This is evidenced by the operational data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that today most of all wheat has been threshed, which was harvested 1.63 million tons from 482.2 thousand hectares with a yield of 33.8 c/ha.

Barley was harvested from the area of 402.7 thou hectares, with the yield of 1.56 mln tons and the yield of 38.9 c/ha.

In addition, 166.4 thou tons of peas were harvested from 82 thou hectares (yield – 200.3 c/ha) and 0.3 thou hectares – 0.4 thou tons of other grains and legumes.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the grain harvesting campaign is underway in 21 regions. Mykolaiv region leads the way with 314.2 thou hectares harvested, followed by Ivano-Frankivsk region with 67.5 c/ha.

In addition, 13 regions are harvesting rapeseed, which was harvested on 186.9 thou hectares, yielding 285.9 thou tons at 15.3 c/ha.

As reported, in Ukraine, farmers are harvesting 80% of agricultural land, as about 18-20% of the land is under temporary occupation.
